Job Summary:
A senior leader is needed to head Amazon's Global Base Building Standards & Compliance team, within the Central Reliability Maintenance Engineering organization. This critical role will lead a team responsible for driving data accuracy of base building equipment, standardizing global maintenance practices, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements worldwide, and developing scalable solutions for a "hands-off" base building maintenance service.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversight of standardized asset data collection across all regions where Amazon operates (NA, EU, LATAM, AMET, APAC) and businesses impacting 3000+ sites.
2. Development of strategies to improve asset registration accuracy in new launches and legacy sites.
3. Establishment of control mechanisms in Change Management process to protect integrity of asset registry through Retrofits and Expansions of sites.
4. Leadership of global preventive and maintenance regulatory standards program to develop cost-effective maintenance framework enhancing safety and reliability of Amazon's base building assets.
5. Development of qualitative metrics to assess base building vendor's performance in terms of asset maintenance regulatory compliance.
6. Leadership of development of scalable solutions to support automation of data analysis from maintenance documentation, facilitating reporting on regulatory maintenance, follow-up corrective actions, and minimizing reliance on local teams to manage base building asset maintenance.
7. Establishment of robust compliance verification framework providing evidence of conformance with applicable maintenance regulatory requirements.
8. Identification and mitigation of risks associated with asset management and regulatory compliance.
9. Collaboration with cross-functional teams including Field, Operations, Procurement, Construction, Finance, Legal, etc. to ensure seamless program implementation.
10. Influence key stakeholders at leadership level across all businesses and regions to support deployment of strategies and programs generated by GSC team.
11. Reporting of program progress and results to senior leadership.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
* Senior experience in asset management, facilities management, or related fields.
* Proven track record in leading large-scale, global initiatives.
* Strong understanding of regulatory maintenance in multiple regions.
* Experience with asset management systems and data analytics.
* Experience managing a team of Senior Managers.
