As a Lead Engineer, Testing and Qualification - Automation & Control, you will be involved in Control System design for new product development programs including Gas Turbine, Steam Turbine, Compressor, and new energy transition products. You will interact with a team of multi-discipline engineers, customers, and suppliers, and you will have the opportunity to introduce new technology to enhance company profitability and productivity.
As Lead Engineer, Testing and Qualification - Automation & Control, you will be responsible for:
* Defining Control Systems architecture based on project requirements and the application of International Standards (e.g., CE, ATEX, CSA, NEC/NEMA, IECex).
* Defining the Package Control philosophy, based on internal standards and tailored for specific customer needs.
* Coordinating the detailed control hardware and software design by interacting with other engineering specialists, suppliers, and customers.
* Defining electrical design activities aimed at sizing and specifying key electrical equipment at the plant level (e.g., MCC, switchgears, substations, cables, transformers, electrical protection systems, etc.).
* Coordinating outsourcing engineering companies to balance workload flexibility while ensuring the highest quality standards.
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role, you will:
* Have a Master's degree in Electrical and/or Control Engineering.
* Have a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in Oil & Gas.
* Turbomachinery knowledge is a must.
* Have strong problem-solving skills.
* Be fluent in both English and Italian.
* Have strong interpersonal skills.
* Be based in Florence.
