Your impact The Mechanical Construction Lead is assigned to a project as a senior member of the Construction Team with responsibility for the proper and timely construction of the Mechanical Scope in accordance with Jacobs Safety and Quality standards, the detailed design, the control estimate, contract, SOP’s, WI’s, standards etc. The Mechanical Construction Lead is responsible for the timely turnover of all mechanical systems to the client. Main Duties/Responsibilities The duties of the Mechanical Construction Lead are set out below. Pre-Construction Detailed review and liaison with design and client workgroup leads, model reviews. Prepare and lead constructability reviews. Prepare detailed SOWs for trade contract procurement. Assist in preparation of detailed BOQs. Review returned Mechanical bids and prepare TBA. Trade and industry knowledge reviews, keeping abreast of developments in the construction industry. Development of detailed execution strategies. Input into CHSP, QA/TO and all other General Construction Requirement documentation. Assist in schedule development, schedule reviews and lead IAPs. The Mechanical Construction Lead will also provide input for the development of the Mechanical construction department which will include improving execution procedures, liaising with the Mechanical Design department leads, and managing and developing Mechanical construction resources across the project. Here's what you'll need: Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or similar. Significant years’ experience in a similar role. Biotech/Pharma knowledge. Excellent multi-disciplinary knowledge.
