Introduction
As an IBM Application Architect, you directly help clients transform their business and solve complex problems. You will define the scope and vision for projects that deliver customized solutions using your knowledge of IBM platforms. You are a technical leader, serving as a liaison among business partners, technical resources, and project stakeholders.
Your Role and Responsibilities
We are seeking a Salesforce Solution Architect with mid-level experience to join our Salesforce Practice in Italy. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing Salesforce solutions that align with business requirements and optimize platform capabilities. As a Solution Architect, you will collaborate closely with stakeholders, developers, and administrators to ensure that the Salesforce solutions are scalable, secure, and provide the best value to the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design end-to-end Salesforce solutions based on business needs, aligning with best practices, scalability, and integration standards.
* Analyze complex business processes and translate them into technical solutions, focusing on Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and other Salesforce products.
* Ensure that the Salesforce architecture adheres to compliance and security standards.
* Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement:
o Partner with business stakeholders to gather and define detailed functional requirements.
o Collaborate with Salesforce developers, administrators, and other team members to create seamless integrations with third-party systems.
o Facilitate workshops and discussions to gather input and provide architectural guidance.
* Technical Leadership:
o Provide technical leadership and oversight during the development and implementation phases.
o Develop architectural artifacts, including solution diagrams, data models, and integration designs.
o Lead the adoption of new Salesforce features and capabilities, continuously improving platform use and optimization.
* Governance & Best Practices:
o Define and enforce governance and best practices around Salesforce development and customization, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
o Review and ensure the quality of code, configuration, and other technical deliverables.
o Manage and maintain the Salesforce roadmap and ensure alignment with long-term business goals.
* Performance & Scalability:
o Analyze system performance and scalability, identifying bottlenecks and areas of improvement.
o Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Salesforce platform, integrations, and data.
Qualifications:
* Experience:
o 4+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce as a Solution Architect, or similar roles.
o Proven track record of designing scalable Salesforce solutions across multiple Salesforce clouds.
o Strong knowledge of Salesforce architecture, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and Community Cloud.
o Experience with Salesforce integrations, including REST/SOAP APIs, middleware solutions, and external applications.
* Technical Skills:
o Proficiency in Salesforce customization using APEX, Lightning Components, Visualforce, and declarative tools (e.g., Flow, Process Builder).
o Understanding of Salesforce security, user management, and governance.
o Strong knowledge of data modeling and data management in Salesforce, including ETL processes and tools.
* Certifications (Preferred):
o Salesforce Certified Application Architect or System Architect.
o Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) (optional but a plus).
o Salesforce Administrator, Developer, or other relevant Salesforce certifications.
* Soft Skills:
o Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
o Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
o A collaborative team player with a proactive approach to problem-solving and a passion for continuous learning.
