Researcher Position: Decentralized Federated Learning in Dynamic Systems
We are seeking talented researchers to join the Ubiquitous Internet Unit of IIT-CNR (Pisa, Italy) for a research project on decentralized federated learning in dynamic systems.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machine learning, decentralized systems, or network science and proficiency in programming languages such as Python and ML frameworks.
Job Description
The researcher will work on designing adaptive and efficient learning techniques for decentralized systems, focusing on modeling the underlying dynamics of decentralized learning. The successful candidate will contribute to the development of new algorithms and methods that can adapt to changing conditions in real-world decentralized systems.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and implement novel algorithms for decentralized federated learning in dynamic environments.
* Develop mathematical models to describe the behavior of decentralized learning systems under changing conditions.
* Collaborate with the research team to develop and test new methods and tools for decentralized learning.
* Publish research findings in top-tier conferences and journals.
Requirements
* MSc or PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Physics (complex systems).
* Background or strong interest in machine learning, decentralized systems, or network science.
* Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and ML frameworks.
Funding and Partnerships
The activities of this research project will be supported by FAIR: Extended Partnership on Artificial Intelligence, funded by the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP), European Union - NextGenerationEU.
