Orienta Spa: Digital Twin Engineer

Orienta Spa, a Benefit Society based in San Bonifacio (VR), is seeking a Digital Twin Engineer for a client company located in Minerbe (VR).

The company, established over 60 years ago, specializes in designing and creating machinery and systems for industrializing construction sites, contributing to the realization of large infrastructure projects worldwide.

The successful candidate will report directly to the Digital & Innovation Manager and work closely with the Department Manager.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

* Creating digital models by modeling construction sites using 3D software, IoT, modeling software, and AI technologies;
* Integrating real-time data from sensors, IoT devices, and other sources into digital models;
* Implementing algorithms for simulation, prediction, and optimization under different conditions and scenarios, considering both internal variations of the plant and external supply volatility;
* Using basic machine learning together with real-time data to optimize product and service performance;
* Implementing and creating simulations using programming skills;
* Exploring the application of virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) in the industrial sector;
* Using PLCs, computerized control systems for monitoring and automating electromechanical processes;
* Working with various types and brands of robots (industrial or collaborative);
* Monitoring digital model performance and updating models based on changes to physical systems;
* Solving problems related to digital solutions and improving model accuracy over time;

Requirements:

* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, Data Science, or related fields;
* At least 3 years of experience in a similar role;
* Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google...) for managing large-scale digital models;
* Firm knowledge of digital twin concepts and applications;
* Basic knowledge of process flow analysis in production;
* Proficiency in using simulation software (e.g. Process Simulate, MATLAB, ANSYS, etc.);
* Experience in IoT, sensors, and real-time data integration;
* Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, C++, or Java for developing models;
* Problem-solving skills, system modeling, and proposing solutions based on simulation results;
* Excellent collaboration and communication skills at all levels for effective teamwork and presenting results to key stakeholders;
* Data analytics, machine learning, and AI experience are a plus;
