Our Client is a well-established, international organisation operating within the FMCG sector. They are currently recruiting for a Distribution Partner Specialist to support their Nicosia team. The successful candidate must have previous, proven experience within a similar role. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Fosters strong relationships with the Distribution Partner, be a credible Brand consultant to DP, Sub DPs and customers and acts as a category captain by presenting Brand potential to ensure the sales, profitability, and long-term sustainable business value.
2. Plans and manages the KPI targets, tracks DP’s performance against those KPIs, provides ongoing feedback and ensures alignment.
3. Establishes a trustworthy relationship with the DP sales to ensure the implementation of brand standards and unlock distribution and execution opportunities in the region, taking proper action as needed.
4. Prepares the annual promotion plan and implements it together with the DP sales teams.
5. Leads all business negotiations with Impulse and Retail accounts.
6. Develops the annual business plan regarding distribution, volume, investments, and KPIs and consistently communicates with the DP to ensure alignment.
7. Secures agreement on necessary subjects and reviews progress.
8. Establishes POS allocation and coordinates with the relevant stakeholders to issue on-going updates against allocation.
9. Develops working knowledge and expertise with regards to product competition and distributor competition in respective area.
10. Allocates and monitors the annual budgets.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
11. A minimum of 4 years of proven sales experience in FMCG industry (DP experience preferred).
12. Good local market knowledge of Off Premise channels (retail, impulse), strategic thinking with strong business acumen to understand financial statements and market trends.
13. Excellent selling skills: communication, negotiation and conflict management.
14. Ability to build good relationships and manage distribution partners with experience.
15. Strong numerical and analytical ability.
16. Naturally organized (planning, time, and resource management), results oriented with high attention to detail, and comfortable working alone and within a team.
17. Fluency in Greek and English languages at a professional level.
18. MS Office literate (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
19. Valid driving license.
