Location / Division Specific Information DPD Europe, Steriles, Ferentino PDS Discover Impactful Work On this role, you will be responsible for the overall coordination and management of late-phase research and consulting projects from start-up through final delivery. You will direct the technical and operational aspects of the projects, securing successful completion. You will work with major functional area leads to identify and evaluate fundamental issues on the project, interpret data on complex issues, use good judgment to make sound business decisions, and ensure solutions are implemented. You will be accountable for ensuring all project results meet the customer time/quality/cost expectations, providing accurate hour forecasts, reviewing pass-through costs, and ensuring timely invoicing with the support of research scientists while collaborating with other functional area leads. A Day in the Life Provide a robust, efficient, and professional Project Management service. Lead the function, providing leadership, support, and job development to the members of Project Management. Design and deliver plans for optimum client service according to CEM approach (including customer concern) and targets. Build and maintain robust business processes supporting the activities of the Function, including the delivery of accurate forecasting for Ferentino. Work as part of the PDS Leadership Team to contribute to the success and expansion of PDS at the site level and when required. Seek opportunities for growth; lead new initiatives, including the promotion of continuous improvement in business, operational, and GMP processes. Review project performance and identify financial, business, and operational trends. Keys to Success Education BA or MS in Chemistry / Pharmacy / Biological Sciences or similar Experience 7 years in technical or management fields experience in the field or in a related area (Pharmaceutical Development, Clinical trials Manufacture, Commercial Manufacture, Project Management, Financial awareness, Customer contact) - 3 years in Project Management role or similar - PMP certification will be desirable Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Wide degree of flexibility, multitasking, and open-minded attitude are prerequisites with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks. Problem-solving and decision-making skills are required along with negotiation and influencing capacity. Customer and result orientation along with leadership are critical. Ability to communicate at all levels: active listening, effective message delivery, empathy, proactive attitude. Long-term vision and motivation. Coaching and mentoring ability, resource management skills. Fluent in English.
