MISSION The Product Planner plays a key role in shaping the development of the assigned model, ensuring alignment with customer needs and market trends. This role is responsible for defining a clear and compelling product brief while facilitating seamless collaboration between Engineering and Sales teams. Throughout the Product Development Process, the Product Planner ensures that all product targets are met, proactively addressing challenges and optimizing solutions. Additionally, they support all pre-launch and launch activities to guarantee a successful market introduction. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES Define key product parameters, including segment, body type, launch timeline, target customers, and competitive landscape. Support the Style Department and Product Development teams by contributing to the product briefing. Assist in defining commercial parameters such as sales volumes, pricing strategies, and market-specific optional content. Support Press & Communication activities by defining product configurations for international events and auto shows, and participating in press events with journalists worldwide. Contribute to product positioning and lifecycle management post-commercial launch to achieve market share, volume, and profitability targets. Analyze market trends, customer feedback, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for product evolution and innovation. REQUIREMENTS 5 years of experience in product marketing, engineering, or sales, preferably in the automotive industry. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. Strong understanding of the automotive market, competitive landscape, and product development processes. Proven experience in product marketing, with the ability to strategically define and position products. Strong business acumen and analytical skills to drive market success. Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and interact with senior leadership. Deep passion for the automotive industry and a solid understanding of its dynamics. Fluency in English and Italian; additional languages are a plus.
