We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to drive the development and positioning of our cutting-edge renewable energy solutions.
Job Description
The Senior Electrical Engineer, will play a pivotal role in the development, deployment, and support of our renewable energy monitoring and control solutions. This position is focused on driving projects from conception through execution, ensuring solutions are both market-relevant and technically sound. Working closely with cross-functional teams, the engineer will provide hands-on technical support, troubleshoot field challenges, and gather real-world insights to refine and enhance our products. The ideal candidate brings a blend of technical expertise and practical experience in renewable energy systems, with a strong commitment to project success, customer satisfaction, and continuous product improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design of electrical systems for renewable energy: Define technical specifications, design solar, wind, and other renewable energy generation systems, optimizing energy efficiency and sustainability.
* Management of electrical installations: Oversee the installation and commissioning activities of electrical systems, coordinating the work team to ensure the project is completed on time, within budget, and meets quality standards.
* Energy storage and distribution systems: Design and manage energy storage systems (batteries, electrochemical storage) and energy distribution systems, including distribution panels and wiring.
* Optimization of system performance: Monitor and analyze the performance of renewable energy systems, implementing predictive maintenance solutions and troubleshooting to maximize energy efficiency.
* Technical and regulatory documentation management: Prepare all necessary documentation for certification and compliance of systems, including permits and adherence to environmental and safety regulations.
* Testing and commissioning of systems: Conduct system functionality tests, validate performance, and manage the commissioning phases of renewable energy generation systems, both during startup and throughout their lifecycle.
* Support for research and development: Collaborate with the R&D team to develop new technological solutions and optimize existing systems, keeping the company at the forefront of the renewable energy sector.
* Compliance with environmental and safety regulations: Ensure all systems comply with environmental regulations (e.g., ISO standards, local and international regulations) and safety laws to protect both the environment and personnel.
You'll receive a positive evaluation in case you have:
* Strong foundation in electrical engineering principles related to renewable energy systems, including solar, wind, and energy storage;
* Proficient in diagnostic and troubleshooting tools and adept in data analysis software (e.g., Python, R, Matlab, Simulink ) for operational insights and performance analysis;
* Hands-on experience with product testing, prototype evaluation, and providing technical support during project phases;
* Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s (preferably ) degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field;
* Experience: 7+ years of experience in electrical engineering, with a significant focus on hands-on project work, technical support, and product development in renewable energy systems;
* Proven experience in supporting project delivery, troubleshooting, and optimizing renewable energy monitoring, control, or asset management solutions in the field;
* Demonstrated ability to translate technical insights from fieldwork into practical product enhancements;
* Familiarity with real-world applications of renewable energy solutions, particularly in remote monitoring, asset management, and IoT-based control systems;
* Good knowledge of English, at least B2 level.

* Excellent problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving field challenges;
* Effective communication skills for conveying technical information to both internal teams and customers;
* Strong collaborative skills, with experience working cross-functionally in fast-paced, project-driven environments;
