Main purpose of the role
Within Group Regulatory Affairs Team, the new resource will work on compliance of promotional activities developed at national and international level that fall within the scope of prize promotions to ensure compliance with applicable legislation in each market.
What you will do
1. Monitor and study national legislation applicable to prize promotions in Europe, reporting regulatory developments to internal stakeholders;
2. Manage the compliance process for prize promotions in European countries, providing advice on mechanics, prizes, rules and communication material (product labels, point of sales material, websites, social media posts and videos, radio, television, etc.) to meet national requirements;
3. Collaborate in drafting agreements for prize promotions;
4. Coordinate with Regulatory colleagues worldwide to carry out compliance assessment of prize promotions developed in markets outside Europe;
5. Cooperate with Regulatory colleagues worldwide in the analysis of regulatory developments on prize promotions and in the drafting of effective communications to internal stakeholders;
6. Support the Regulatory team to manage consumer complaints and administrative cases related to prize promotions, toys and promotional items;
7. Contact with authorities, local agencies and consultants.
Who you are
8. Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Law or Law related sciences;
9. English oral and written: proficiency level (other languages highly appreciated);
10. At least 5 years experience in a food or consumer product/services business, Law firm or Consultancy agency in a regulatory and/or legal function;
11. Experience in promotional activities and consumer law highly appreciated;
12. Flexibility and capacity to communicate effectively;
13. Ability to work in team and to coordinate activities with other colleagues also located in other countries;
14. Strong interest in new trends and good knowledge of social media.
