* Candidates of any nationality are eligible.
* Applicants must have received or be close to receiving their Ph.D. between 01/09/2020 and 01/09/2025.
* Ph.D. defense must occur by 31/12/2025.
* The programme is open to candidates within 5 years of completing their Ph.D., with preference given to those who have not previously held a postdoctoral fellowship.
* Candidates should have a high level of English proficiency (C1 level CEFR) as demonstrated by recognized English language certificates or equivalent.
Job Description:
Max Weber Fellows will:
* Engage in research within their respective disciplines.
* Participate in a wide range of multidisciplinary and disciplinary activities.
* Receive training and support in publishing, teaching, grant applications, and academic job applications.
* Have access to superb research facilities, including a well-resourced library, shared office space, and a personal research fund.
* Be eligible for additional grants funded by various governments and foundations.
* In the second year, fellows in Economics and Political and Social Sciences may apply for a part-time Assistant Professor position, involving teaching and mentoring responsibilities.
* The application process includes two phases:
