Activities covered by the internship:
Facing tender Engineering activities in respect of global target cost, tender budget and planning.
Management
* Help to manage functionally the engineering team allocated to the tender.
* Help to interface with Tender core team and ensure engineering internal interfaces.
* Work to perform technical exchanges with the customer.
* Help with the analysis of the customer requirements and identify gaps versus reference product.
* Provide technical documentation for tender submission to customer.
Build-up of Engineering proposal
* Provide support to define best compromise to address the gaps (QCD) (Mechanical, Functional Architecture).
* Support the Bid Technical Manager in identifying technical risks and ensure they are covered by a dedicated action plan agreed by Platform and Metiers.
Help to get the validation of Site Engineering Director (or Bid Technical Manager) and Bid Manager on the Engineering assumption pack gathering the Engineering outputs.
* Design to cost approach.
* Willingness to understand Tender process and key players' roles.
* Customer-oriented approach.
* Good communication and relationship skills.
