We are currently looking for a Subcontract Officer for our HQ in Busseto.
The Subcontracts Officer procures services and works and manages relevant subcontracts on behalf of the company and its projects, optimizing costs and making sure that the works and services procured are in line with the company's procedures and standards and are secured on time in accordance with the project schedule.
The Subcontract officer will be involved in the following activities:
1. Vendors Pre-Qualification phase;
2. Market research and definition of the Project's Vendor List;
3. Review of the Project's Requisitions and Scope of Works;
4. Preparation and issuance of Requests for Quotations (RFQs);
5. Bidders follow up during the Tenders phase;
6. Preparation of Commercial Bid Tabulations;
7. Commercial and contractual negotiation with the Short Listed or Selected Bidder;
8. Submission of Final Bid Tabulation and Suggestion of Award to management;
9. Drafting and issuance of related Subcontracts;
10. Preparation and issuance of subsequent Variation or Addendum to the Subcontract;
11. Collection of periodical feedback related to the timely and quality performances of the Subcontractor;
12. Providing periodic Reports and Updates;
13. Ensure correct close-out phase for each issued subcontract;
14. Maintain, monitor, and update required KPIs;
Requirements
15. Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Engineering, or Business or Law, or Economics or Equivalent;
16. At least two (2) years of experience in Subcontracts or Tenders departments;
17. Relevant experience in the Oil & Gas sector is preferable;
18. Good knowledge (written and spoken) of English;
19. Understanding of terms and conditions and contractual terminology;
20. Availability to travel as and if required;
21. Ability to work with multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
