Business Services Manager, Italy About the role Corporate Real Estate & Business Services manages the company´s corporate real estate portfolio and provides accompanying business services. Real Estate Services: Ensure professional property facility management, supporting health safety ergonomics, performing project move management on demand, space planning and management of critical infrastructure. Controlling: Planning and monitoring of budgets and cost development of all related costs. Proactive identification and implementation of cost saving potentials. Third Party Management: Ensure the adherence to the TPA governance process for your direct area of responsibility. Provide oversight and Subject Matter Expertise across the business and functions on the policy, supporting tools (CBRA), roles and responsibilities, and annual risk assessments. Corporate Services: Manage a portfolio of services around A/V equipment, document management, record management, fleet management, mail distribution, reception, mobile telephony & more. Health, Safety Environment: Support HR to review the HSE policy ensuring it is compliant. Provide regular H&S training to the local business. Ensure sustainability for the benefit of the environment in the areas of energy, waste, emissions, digitalisation and above. Security Services: Adherence of standards in access control systems and CCTV. Business Continuity Services: Support the regional function in the event of a local impact and in complying with all global requirements regarding mandatory documentation, trainings and exercise plans. IT Services: Support onboarding/offboarding process in cooperation with HRIT; purchase IT supplies (e.g., mouse, keyboard, monitor, etc.) due to AIG IT standards. Manage maintenance of critical infrastructure in the server rooms due to global rules and legal requirements. The Business Services Manager Italy Ensures that the services are provided professionally and expertly. Leads a team of motivated and committed colleagues to achieve top performance and independent thinking in the spirit of AIG. Collaborates with regional functions to ensure standards and sustainable high quality in all countries. Guarantees that the AIG internal compliance guidelines policies are adhered to. Maintains an intensive network with all relevant stakeholders in the country and beyond. The role will directly report to Joerg Hausotter, Head of Business Services EMEA. What we’re looking for: Experience in office management, real estate, property, or facility management. Ability to work on own initiative and to work in a team cross border. Deep knowledge and understanding of the similarities and differences of the countries to have a total understanding of the business needs and to be able to implement AIG's global standards in the respective country. Enthusiasm to inspire and lead a team. Strong communication skills with team, stakeholders, managers on all levels. Computer literacy (e.g., MS Office, SAP, Archer, etc.). Very strong language skills in English – verbally and in writing.
