In the role, a Lead Auditor will: Proceed with regular auditing field activities. Manage client relationships and implement a total customer focus approach. Conduct work for DNV efficiently and competently as required by instructions/Quality System and/or as per formal agreement between the client and DNV. Ensure the independent nature of the DNV scheme is not compromised at any time. Maintain/acquire Auditor Registration with DNV or any other registration that supports acceptance as Lead Auditor within DNV. Plan and execute audits, report findings, and follow up when necessary within agreed timelines and economic frameworks. Meet professional practice standards and demonstrate competence in core areas. Develop and maintain positive relationships with client personnel. Contribute to an effective positive work environment. Act as a team player, guiding others through the professional development process, including timely completion of reviews and goal setting. Maintain effective communication with line management, audit team members, and client stakeholders. Ensure proper use of production tools dedicated to auditing activities and communicate updated data to allow proper management of certificates. Perform typical back-office tasks such as contacting customers to confirm planned activities. Minimum Requirements: Experience as a Senior Lead Auditor on MSC-related schemes (ISO 9001, ISO 50001, ISO 37001). Fluent in Italian and a good knowledge of English. Demonstrated evidence of excellent communication, relationship management, and conflict resolution skills. Ability to build strong relationships with customers. Ability to coordinate and manage an assigned Auditors Team. Strong attitude to auditing, including mobility, flexibility, working under pressure, and respect for deadlines. Ability to handle basic software programs and IT tools. Highest levels of integrity and professionalism.
