We are looking for a Firmware Engineer graduated to join our Robotics team for a six months internship in our HQ located in Castelfranco Veneto KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Collaborate with senior team to implement and modify parts of firmware code on embedded systems; Test and fix bugs in the code; Perform debugging and simulations to ensure proper firmware operation. Testing and validation: Assist in writing tests to validate firmware behavior; Perform tests on real electronic boards and simulators to verify code functionality; Document test results and suggest possible corrections. Analysis and troubleshooting: Collaborate in analyzing issues encountered during testing and development phases; Support in developing small fixes or solutions for known problems. Support the hardware team: Work closely with the hardware team to ensure that firmware is optimized for the hardware on which it runs; Work with the team to identify hardware/firmware incompatibilities. QUALIFICATIONS: Degree in Electronic/Information Engineering discipline. Willing to work in an international, fast-paced environment. KNOWLEDGE: Knowledge of C, C++, or Python. Bare metal and RTOS-based programming experience. Familiar with the embedded microprocessor design process: compilers, debuggers, IDE, and source code control. LANGUAGES: Knowledge of Italian and English is mandatory; Further language knowledge is appreciated.
