The Rollout Manager is accountable to plan and manage the rollout of the deployment activities for whole or part of a customer project, ensuring the project is delivered in scope of contractual obligations and within forecasted costs, time, and required quality.
HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
* Rollout/Swap planning and preparations. Project start-up support.
* Rollout procedures and processes set-up. Define detailed site implementation process.
* Responsible for rollout plan creation & execution, including customer acceptance for its region.
* Responsible for alignment among relevant stakeholders on rollout plan.
* Responsible for management of internal and external field deployment teams/members.
* Supplier Management: subcontractors daily operations planning and coordination.
* Manage demand planning of HW and materials in alignment with roll-out plan.
* Follow up on ordering process (Customer Service Order/ Subcon Purchase Order/ TI materials)
* Responsible that rollout scope is delivered within cost, time and required quality.
* Responsible of achieving targeted rollout, committed to Customer for his/her region.
* Main communication interface for Customer regional/technical teams in daily rollout operations.
* Responsible to monitor, control and provide operational visibility to assure proper project reporting.
* Risk management and coordination for various issues with respective stakeholders.
* Initiate change & claim process according to laid procedures.
* Managing, and accepting/rejecting service supplier work.
* Supporting Project Manager for good receipts of the materials for the project.
* Manage the compliance towards Quality and Health & Safety standards.
* Responsible for adherence to Deploy processes and Nokia tools usage (e.g., NDP-c/d).
Qualifications
* Education in Telecom, Engineering or equivalent.
* Minimum 5 years’ experience in Telecom projects field management.
* Minimum 3 years’ experience in managing RAN roll-out/swap projects with Nokia.
* Must understand well mobile networks architecture and infrastructure.
* Good understanding of RAN deployment projects mode of operations, processes, and procedures.
* Awareness of contemporary Nokia equipment portfolio and technical specifications of equipment and materials.
* Strong management, team leading, coaching and communication skills.
* Problem solving and negotiation skills.
* Proactive and self-driven mindset.
* Ability to perform under pressure.
* Mandatory: Italian language knowledge
It would be nice if you also had:
* Quality Management experience.
* Health & Safety experience.
