OPEX Leader – Drive Operational Excellence in a Global Medical Devices Group
Role Overview:
An accomplished Operational Excellence (OPEX) professional with expertise in Lean Six Sigma and a passion for innovation and continuous improvement is sought to lead cross-functional initiatives in a dynamic multi-site environment.
Main Responsibilities:
* Define OPEX Standards: Develop methodologies, tools, and templates to support lean transformation and ensure effective implementation across all manufacturing sites within the Center of Excellence.
* Coordinate Global Roll-Out: Establish clear guidelines for adopting OPEX standards and provide training to teams at every level.
* Training & Competence Building: Design and deliver workshops on Lean/OPEX, Six Sigma, and process improvement methodologies.
* Assessment & Continuous Improvement: Establish an assessment framework to audit and enhance the adoption of OPEX standards.
* Leadership & Mentorship: Provide functional leadership to Plant OPEX Managers and offer guidance and professional development support.
* Executive Coaching: Foster a leadership culture rooted in excellence by collaborating with Management Team.
* Strategic Planning: Oversee strategy deployment/target setting process and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
* Performance Monitoring: Supervise SQDC performance tracking and identify areas for improvement.
* Continuous Improvement Projects: Lead cross-plant initiatives to boost operational efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize processes.
* Proactive Process Analysis: Conduct assessments of operational workflows to identify gaps and propose high-impact solutions.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's preferred.
* Proven experience in Continuous Improvement/OPEX roles, preferably in multi-plant environments.
* Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification with deep knowledge of Lean, Kaizen, and data analysis tools.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a track record of managing complex projects.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
* Will to travel (25-50% of the time) and adapt to a dynamic global environment.
