Borgo Pignano, a 750 acre private estate hidden away in the hills and valleys of Tuscany whose ethos is a commitment to slow food, slow living and sustainable organic farming, is looking for an engaging and proactive FRONT OFFICE MANAGER from February to November 2025.
Responsibilities:
1. Supervise all activities carried out by staff at the reception, guest service and switchboard.
2. Make a daily check on room assignments.
3. Upsell and cross-sell all departments in order to maximize sales.
4. Control the management of operating expenses.
5. Have a very detailed knowledge of all the services and activities available to guests.
6. Ensure that all guests are always cared for and treated in an extremely polite and courteous manner according to the standards dictated by the company.
7. Always have an answer for every question submitted by guests and solve their problems efficiently.
8. Manage a working team and other departments to ensure that all objectives of the company are met.
9. Maintain good working relations with other department heads.
10. Always be supportive to the Room Division Manager.
Requirements:
1. 2-3 years of experience in the same role at least.
2. Strong team player.
3. Great communication skills with key departments.
4. Strong leadership.
5. Eye for detail.
6. Passion for service, discretion, and courtesy.
7. Excellent grooming.
8. Proficient in English is required, with knowledge of Italian and another language preferred.
9. Respect for nature and for the values that the earth represents.
10. Own a car.
