Our stratospheric balloons are changing the way we observe and interact with our planet. As we expand our operations, we are looking for a second dedicated Launch Operations Technician to join our operations team. This is an extraordinary opportunity to be a part of a pioneering field, contributing to groundbreaking advancements in stratospheric technology.
The balloons are the spacecraft of Stratostats, our pseudo-satellite platform: Stratostats.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Collaboration with Engineering Team: Work closely with our engineers in the mission preparation, with simulations and predictions.
2. Flight Testing: Play a critical role in conducting test and commercial flights.
3. Launch and Recovery Operations: Collaborate with our launch team in deploying, preparing, and launching balloons. After mission completion, be a key player in the recovery and storage of both the balloon and the gondola, ensuring they are ready for future use.
Qualifications:
1. Diploma in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial, or a related field.
2. At least 1 year of experience in operations, preferably in aerospace or related industries.
3. Ability to work collaboratively in a team and adapt to dynamic project requirements.
4. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
5. Good physical shape for recovery operations.
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: €1,000.00 - €1,300.00 per month
