General Description of the Role
The Investor Relations (IR) Manager reports to the Investor Relations Director and is an integral part of the Investor Relations team based at the Group Headquarter in Milan, Italy.
Mission/Objectives
The mission of the Investor Relations Manager is to support and facilitate communication and relationships between Campari Group and its shareholders, analysts, investors, and other stakeholders in the financial community and ensure a two-way communication between the Company and the external stakeholders.
Overall, this role plays a critical role in fostering trust, transparency, and confidence among the company's investors and the broader financial community while ensuring that the company benefits from the external viewpoint to strengthen shareholder value.
Key Responsibilities and Activities
* Prepare investor presentations and press releases for the Group's financial results on a quarterly basis in collaboration with other relevant internal teams.
* Support and manage financial disclosures and communications to the financial community, including quarterly results.
* Engage in regular dialogue with defined analysts and investors, including one-to-one meetings, calls, roadshows and other events. Act as the primary point of contact for these groups together with the IR Director.
* Provide market insights, trends, competitive intelligence and analysis to senior leadership, including the CFO and CEO, to inform business strategy and decision-making.
* Support in ensuring a two-way communication between the Company / management and the external stakeholders to proactively steer messaging and provide input to management.
* Oversee the development and update of IR tools for both external and internal communication, including the Group's website's investor section and the IR portal for top management and key finance counterparts, as well as the development of stock performance analysis and reporting.
* Develop and regularly update internal financial analysis/models, such as investor financial books and analysts' estimates reviews.
* Supervise the evolution of the shareholder base and disclosure on shareholder structure and share capital evolution, collaborating with the legal department.
Key Relationships
Internal: CFOO & CEO as well as the rest of management team, Group finance departments (Financial Planning & Analysis, Reporting, Tax and Treasury), Corporate Communications department, Legal and Public Affairs department as well as business teams.
External: Investors, Analysts, Stock Exchange.
Education & Experience
* Min 5+ years of experience as an IR professional or a research analyst (sell-side or buy-side), preferably with a focus on beverages or consumer goods.
* Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Finance or similar practices.
* Background in Consulting or Investment Banking a plus with experience in mergers and acquisitions, financial modeling, due diligence, deal structuring.
* Thorough knowledge of economic and financial principles (financial statements and balance sheets).
* Excellent analytical skills with ability to synthesize large and disperse data sets into clear findings and storyline with aptitude for problem solving.
* Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills with diverse audiences including external stakeholders, Company management and various teams.
* Familiarity with business processes in the FMCG industry constitutes a plus.
* Fluency in English is essential, and knowledge of another language is a plus.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
* Knowledge of Bloomberg, Nasdaq and other similar platforms is a plus.
