About This OpportunityThe Job PurposeThe purpose of the role is to ensure the financial systems, processes and disciplines are operated effectively and in a timely manner and to support the Financial Controller in all matters relating to the management and interpretation of the finance reporting. The incumbent will report to the Finance Controller.The ResponsibilitiesPrepare annual budget and quarterly rolling forecast.Prepare and analyze monthly/weekly accounts and KPI reporting to headquarters and local management team.Analysis and interpretation of the financial results and forecasts.Support the Plant Manager, other managers and their teams in the interpretation and understanding of the results, and subsequent corrective actions.Customer rebates management computation.Logged invoices and GRNI resolutions.Manage and maintain an accurate standard costing system.Monitor the product margin analysis, proposing and advising on changes as required.Submission, monitoring and control of capital and expenditure projects.Ownership of working capital management, identifying corrective actions and ensuring implementation.Liaison with internal and external auditors.Comply with internal policies in administration and finances areas.Maintenance of SOX environment of controls.The PersonYou have a degree in Business Finance Control/Accounting.Minimum 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably within a multinational group or in auditing firms of international groups.Strong knowledge of the latest finance methods and an ability to interpret these into workable local solutions. A knowledge of Italian statutory accounting and tax requirements.Good computer skills, including extensive use of integrated management software (ERP) and management reporting software and a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel.His language skills must be Italian (native language) and a high level of English (written and spoken); French would be useful to facilitate working.
