Norcia, born 600 years before Rome, birthplace of San Benedetto, hidden in the nature of the Sibillini Mountains National Park, with its medieval city walls still intact, is the Italian capital of black truffle. Here the Bianconi family has been offering hospitality with love since 1850. Seneca Palace from the 16th century, tells about Umbria. The best Italian craftsmen oversaw the restoration, using local materials, in harmony between colours, lights, tradition and design. The scents of the small aromatic herb garden, the flavors of the famous local genuine products and an uncontaminated environment are the inspiration for the cuisine of the elegant Vespasia restaurant.
Inside the 1 Michelin star and green star restaurant in agreement and under the supervision of the Executive Chef, the resource will contribute to the kitchen service and the execution of different courses, respecting the shared guidelines and supporting colleagues in their daily activities.
Requirements:
1. Diploma or qualification in the hotel sector, ad hoc training courses
2. Good knowledge of the Italian language
3. At least 2 years' experience in high standard hotels, gourmet, and/or starred restaurants, Relais & Chateaux
4. Knowledge of various cooking and preservation techniques of foods, grains, flours, meats, sauces, and various basic condiments
5. Organizational skills, team spirit, humility, and flexibility
The search is aimed at motivated and passionate candidates to be included in the team who can integrate within Palazzo Seneca, which has a consolidated tradition and a strong connection with the community and the territory, and has been committed for generations to offering an experience of hospitality and excellence. In Palazzo Seneca, the staff is the driving force behind the success of the residence, and for this reason, sincere attention to the well-being of collaborators is promoted and cultivated daily.
The resource will be placed on a fixed-term contract from 1 April to November with remuneration provided for by the Tourism CCNL in line with the experience and professionalism of the chosen resource. Full-time availability with one day off is required. Room and board is provided for out-of-residence resources.
