Reporting to the Marketing Director South Europe, and working closely with the Italian Sales Director, the position of Marketing Manager combines Strategic Planning, Customer account planning, Product and Brand analysis, Insights generation, Customer engagements, marketing activation initiatives and B2B Marketing Communications. The scope is the Italian market across all Food and Beverage categories. In addition, the position includes the role of Food champion across South Europe. What will you be doing? Identifying business opportunities and priorities in close cooperation with the Sales Director. Feeding the Account Plans for top customers with insights based on market, products and brands analysis. Prepare detailed analysis and marketing activation plans for the top customers in close cooperation with the commercial team and R&D team. Provide insights based on product range, brands, consumers, USPs and competitive analysis. Execute customer engagements with the prioritized Italian customers. Face-to-face meetings unless otherwise required by the customer whether at customer location, at Kerry’s Global Technology & Innovation centre, at our subregional centres. Collaborate with Sales director and R&D lead to plan and execute Food marketing activation initiatives and innovation launches for South Europe. Track progress and results and share learnings. Actively facilitate the sharing of knowledge, insights, success stories and other information across teams within BU (South Europe) and with Europe marketing & strategy teams. Build and strengthen the Kerry brand and reputation in the territory through execution of marketing activation initiatives and local communications and events. What are the minimum requirements? Bachelor’s Degree (essential) - Bachelors or Master’s degree in marketing, business, food science, or related field. Minimum 4 years’ experience in strategic or activation marketing, ideally in the food and beverage industry. Italian first language, fluency in English. Strong leadership and team management skills. Strong organizational and planning capabilities. Excellent project management capabilities, including management of multiple stakeholders. Ability to understand business relevance of marketing activities. Good communications and presentation skills, and a talent for sharing information with relevant stakeholders. Ability to quickly grasp and become proficient in new concepts, ideas, technologies, markets, tools and ways of working. An enthusiastic attitude towards effectively interacting with many different functions and serving as an active participant on a multinational, multi-functional team. Good knowledge of quantitative and qualitative analysis methodologies, interpreting and presenting findings in a clear, concise manner, including the creation and use of tables, charts, and graphics to summarize results.
