The employer company operates in the beautiful province of Limburg, known for its rolling hills, charming villages, and rich cultural heritage. Limburg is located in the southeastern part of the Netherlands, bordering Belgium and Germany. It is renowned for its unique hilly landscape, vibrant festivals, historic cities, and delicious regional cuisine.
What You Will Do:
Digital ticket sales,
Acting as a host/hostess during the bus ride, providing service to passengers,
Driving the bus under all conditions, ensuring safe and comfortable transport for passengers and the safety of other road users,
Operating primarily electric buses,
Reporting irregularities and issues, such as traffic jams, bus occupancy, road conditions, and detecting defects in street furniture,
Assessing the general technical condition of the vehicle and recording detected defects on the appropriate form,
Preparing the bus for operation, including refilling oil, water, and air, setting the route, inserting and setting the tachograph disc (if necessary), checking the functionality of onboard equipment, and ensuring all necessary items are present.
Requirements: (We will not interview candidates who do not meet all the criteria listed below)
English level: minimum B1+,
EU nationality or EU citizenship,
Valid EU driver's license D,
Valid Code 95,
Valid Tachograph card (must be arranged in the candidate's home country, if not already acquired),
Recent experience within the past 3 years,
Minimum experience duration: 1 year,
Must provide a clean Certificate of Good Conduct (CGC) later in the process.
Salary:
Collective Labor Agreement (CLA): MUMO / OV,
Hourly Wage: Starting from 16.30E, depending on experience and test results,
Weekly Hours: 36/40 -hour workweek as per MUMO / OV CLA,
Holiday Allowance: 8% paid weekly.
Overtime/Irregular Hours:
Overtime is paid weekly,
Shift allowances apply for irregular working hours, with an average of a 20% allowance per worked hour,
Net salary starting from 2.600E per month.

Time Management: Punctuality is crucial in public transport. Drivers must adhere to schedules while maintaining passenger safety and comfort.
Safety Awareness: A strong focus on road safety is essential. Drivers must be constantly aware of their surroundings, follow traffic rules, and prioritize passenger and road user safety.
Adaptability/Flexibility: Public transport can be unpredictable. Drivers must remain calm and adaptable to changing traffic conditions, passenger needs, and shifts. Willingness to work nights, weekends, and split shifts is required.
Communication Skills: Clear communication is vital for interacting with passengers, colleagues, and responding to unexpected situations.
Onboarding Process:
Interview with TCS Recruiter: Initial interview to discuss the position and recruitment process.
E-Assessment: Online assessment to test the candidate's skills.
Introductory Meeting with the Hiring Manager: Short Video-call though WhatsApp with the Employer Company.
Psychological Assessment (PO): Digital psychological assessment to evaluate suitability for the role.
VOG Application (Certificate of Good Conduct): Candidate applies for a Certificate of Good Conduct (CGC) in their home country.
Contract and Onboarding with TCS: Drafting of the contract and start of the onboarding process.
Planning Arrival in the Netherlands: Coordinating arrival with TCS.
BSN Appointment and Medical Examination: Scheduling of BSN (Citizen Service Number) appointment and medical examination upon arrival in the Netherlands.
