Job Description
This is a quality assurance role that requires travel around Italy, with a focus on Valenza, Vicenza, and Tuscany.
You will be responsible for inspecting finished jewelry at suppliers' sites to ensure it meets Tiffany & Co.'s quality standards.
Key responsibilities include:
* Coordinating and performing quality inspections on-site at external suppliers' locations.
* Supporting quality inspections and following sampling plans based on quality sampling rules.
* Maintaining accurate records of quality control data in JD Edwards Quality Management system.
* Identifying and reporting quality issues and suggesting continuous improvement initiatives.
* Working with suppliers to improve development processes, tooling, and inventory control.
Additional responsibilities include:
* Performing supplier merchandize receiving functions and validating receipt of acceptable product into Tiffany & Co. systems.
* Supporting new product development processes and partnering with Lifecycle QA team in NY.
* Partnering with suppliers and local Managers to submit monthly samples to Merchandise Testing Lab (MTL).
Required qualifications include:
* Bachelor's degree.
* 2 years Quality Assurance experience.
* Jewelry knowledge.
* Proficient in English, written and oral.
* Proficient in MS Office tools: Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Preferred qualifications include:
* Graduate Gemologist and/or Graduate Jeweler.
* Work experience in JD Edwards or other enterprise system(s).
