Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Hotel Housekeeper to join our team in providing a comfortable and welcoming environment for guests.
This role is crucial to ensuring the cleanliness and orderliness of guest rooms, public areas, and other designated hotel spaces.
Key Responsibilities:
* Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and cleaning bathrooms.
* Replace used towels, linens, and amenities (e.g., soap, shampoo) in guest rooms.
* Ensure rooms are properly stocked with necessary supplies and report any shortages or maintenance issues to management.
* Clean and maintain public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and stairways.
* Handle guests' personal items with care and ensure privacy and confidentiality.
* Empty trash cans and dispose of waste appropriately.
* Report any damages, maintenance concerns, or safety hazards to the supervisor or management immediately.
* Assist in deep cleaning projects (e.g., carpet cleaning, window washing) as required.
* Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in storage and supply areas.
* Follow all safety and security procedures to ensure the safety of guests, team members, and hotel property.
* Provide excellent customer service and respond to guest requests in a friendly and professional manner.
Qualifications:
* Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred but not required.
* Ability to work independently and efficiently, with a strong attention to detail.
* Good communication skills and ability to work effectively with hotel staff and guests.
* Physical stamina and ability to lift, carry, and move heavy objects.
* Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and various shifts as needed.
* High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
* Knowledge of cleaning products, techniques, and equipment is a plus.
