Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will be working as a Data Scientist and will be part of the Electrification Data and Analytics team based in Bergamo, Italy. You will report to a Data Science Manager and deliver and implement analytics strategy in one or more functional areas in alignment with business stakeholders, leveraging knowledge of advanced analytics to make a business impact. The work model for the role is: LI-Hybrid. You will be mainly accountable for:
1. Working with datasets from the enterprise data warehouse, creating deployment pipelines, and monitoring dataset scoring metrics.
2. Synthesizing complex results or processes into simple, clear visualizations, presentations, and communication of findings.
3. Communicating with business to understand use cases and user stories to be implemented in project sprints, leading the requirements and implementation for projects, sometimes coordinating a small team of junior data scientists.
4. Working on our agentic AI framework, developing RAG agents, vector stores, text2sql, and orchestration of agents and assistants for different projects.
Qualifications for the role
* You are highly skilled in Python, SQL, and main machine learning concepts, libraries such as sklearn, pytorch/tensorflow.
* Ability to demonstrate your experience in knowledge of Python, SQL, and main machine learning concepts, libraries such as sklearn, pytorch/tensorflow is mandatory.
* Experience as a Data Scientist with a basic understanding of big data architectures - such as fundamentals of Hadoop and Spark. Experience with main concepts of Generative AI (genAI) such as RAG, fine-tuning, and agents is mandatory. Experience with LLM agnostic agentic frameworks such as LangGraph/LangChain, Semantic Kernel, or any other framework is preferable.
* Possess enhanced knowledge of BI visualization tools such as PowerBI; knowledge of Tableau and Git is mandatory.
* Proven experience with MLops, Docker, and moving projects to production, implementing end-to-end devops pipelines to build and publish artifacts. Experience with main Azure services for data science, such as Databricks or AzureML is mandatory.
* You are passionate about strong analytical and organizational skills, working independently to achieve results.
* Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Business Intelligence, or related field.
* You are at ease communicating in Italian and English, both written and spoken.
