Role Overview
As an Algorithm Engineer, you’ll be at the heart of our client’s research and development efforts, working closely with applied scientists and tech partners. You'll bring to life the latest CVML research through high-performance applications on advanced hardware platforms. This is a unique opportunity to help shape the innovation roadmap of leading tech companies across multiple industries.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement state-of-the-art computer vision and deep learning algorithms.
* Optimize software to run efficiently across CPUs and GPUs.
* Contribute to and maintain core software modules.
* Interface with various hardware components (e.g., cameras and sensors) to acquire and process data.
* Collaborate with internal and external R&D teams to transition research into robust real-world applications.
Requirements
* MSc with 3+ years of experience or a PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Robotics, or a related field.
* Solid knowledge of computer vision and neural networks, with strong coding skills in C/C++ (or Rust).
* Experience with version control (e.g., Git), debugging/profiling tools, and containers.
* Hands-on experience with GPU programming (e.g., CUDA, TensorRT).
* Proficiency in English (written and spoken); knowledge of Italian and/or German is a plus.
* Self-motivated, collaborative, and eager to learn.
Nice to Have
* Experience working with embedded systems or interfacing with hardware components (e.g., cameras/sensors).
* Familiarity with MLOps practices.
* Contributions to academic or open-source projects in CVML.
