Job Overview
The Leidos team is responsible for delivering the core backbone of the Navy-Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI) and Marine Corps Enterprise Network (MCEN), including cybersecurity services, network operations, service desk, and data transport. This role will play a key part in modernizing these networks.
About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Network Operations Specialist to join our team in Naples, Italy. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing enterprise network operations and engineering support for various programs. This will include planning, designing, and evaluating components of the USMC network on the Service Management, Integration, and Transport (SMIT) program.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Coordinate infrastructure repairs, ensuring continuity of service delivery through remote activities.
* Review root cause analysis documentation to address performance management and incident correlation issues.
* Work within DevSecOps methodology to plan and support implementation of new technologies.
* Prepare recommendations for resolutions to NetOps challenges based on monitoring results, tools analysis, and/or forensics.
* Assist the Cyber Team in employing approved defense-in-depth principles and practices.
* Assist with collecting intrusion artifacts and using discovered data to enable mitigation of potential CND incidents.
Requirements
* Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
* 10 years of experience.
* US Citizen with an active DoD Top-Secret Clearance.
* IAT III and CCNP certifications.
Compensation
This role offers a competitive salary range of $87,100.00 - $157,450.00 per year. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include job responsibilities, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
