Job Title: Senior IT Analyst - GIS Specialist
Contract Type: 2 Year Fixed Term Contract
About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior IT Analyst to specialise in Geographical Information Systems (GIS) and have experience in Street Naming and Numbering (SNN), Local Land and Property Gazetteer (LLPG), and Local Street Gazetteer (LSG).
Key Responsibilities
* Support the Council's day-to-day GIS operations, including improvements and development initiatives to promote GIS maturity across the organisation.
* Manage and maintain the Council's LLPG and LSG to a high standard, assisting with the statutory provision of Street Naming & Numbering.
* Engage in future projects supporting other business areas, contributing to broader IT initiatives and cross-departmental solutions.
Technical Requirements
* Experience with ArcGIS platform and FME (Feature Manipulation Engine) for GIS.
* Knowledge of eVo GMS for Street Naming and Numbering and Gazetteer Maintenance.
* Business Analysis, GIS, and data improvement skills.
* Ability to provide technical support and manage small/medium-sized projects.
