Responsibilities
Supervise Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and General Lerdger Accounting
Oversee customer billing in collaboration with the internal sales team
Manage monthly IAS closures and annual financial statements for group consolidation
Conduct quarterly forecasting, budgeting, and monthly intercompany reconciliations
Ensure compliance with VAT and fiscal regulations in Italy and Switzerland
Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual tax obligations with external consultants
Support the Transfer Pricing consultant in preparing documentation
Liaise with external auditors to ensure compliance
Supervise payroll processing with support from an external provider
Act as the Local HR Operations Manager, ensuring compliance with labor laws
Serve as the Local Privacy Coordinator for data protection compliance
Lead and develop a small team of three finance professionals
Drive internal process improvements and ensure ESG reporting compliance
Your Profile
10+ years of experience in a similar role within a small to medium-sized company, preferably a part of a big group
Strong knowledge of Italian GAAP, IFRS, and IAS regulations
Experience with financial forecasting, budgeting, and intercompany reconciliations
Knowledge of Italian labor law and Payroll Management
Familiar with local and international taxation frameworks, including VAT
Proficient in Excel and SAP S/4HANA, knowledge of other accounting and reporting tools are an avantage
Proven team management skills with the ability to lead and develop a small team
Empathetic and diplomatic approach, able to build consensus and drive ideas forward smoothly
Business-Fluency in English. Good knowledge of German or French would be an advantage
