General Role Description
Play a pivotal role in planning, executing, and closing projects effectively and efficiently. Responsible for overseeing all aspects of project management, from initiation to completion, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of stakeholders. This role requires strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills, as well as the ability to navigate complex project dynamics and overcome challenges.
Role Accountabilities
Project Planning
1. Coordinate cross-functional project teams, including parent company resources and suppliers, for successful execution of projects, ensuring that company objectives are met using the established quality process.
2. Identify opportunities and provide recommendations to business unit for improvements on sales management and project execution processes.
3. Provide timely updates on project performance, integration of corporate business project processes, market trends, project status, and client relationship issues to business unit, company, and parent company management.
Project Execution
1. Ensure client contractual commitments per terms and conditions are met.
2. Recommend and implement risk assessment and abatement plan to meet project budgets and targets.
3. Collect, analyse, and report business unit data to management, including project revenue recognition, profitability and billings.
4. Coordinate all aspects of shipping with the Project Coordinators.
5. Produce and maintain records of project communications, contract variations, projects, and business activities per corporate guidelines.
Client Communications
1. Serve as single point of contact for clients on assigned projects for engineering, manufacturing, supply and commissioning of electrical and automation systems.
2. Identify, resolve and communicate resolution on client issues, escalating unresolved issues to immediate manager.

Minimum Qualifications
1. Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Computer Engineering or related field or equivalent via education and/or work experience.
2. 4 years of experience specifying, designing, or commissioning electrical and automation systems for the renewable energy, oil & gas, mining, power generation, metals, material handling, or paper industries.
3. Proficiency in MS Project.
4. Demonstrated successful and positive personal leadership, interpersonal, organizational, administrative, and communication skills.
5. Demonstrated successful working relationships with clients, suppliers, and other internal and external contacts.
6. Demonstrated continuous improvement in areas of responsibility.
7. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
8. Availability to travel domestically and internationally 25% of the time, sometimes with limited notice.
Preferred Qualifications
1. Demonstrated success leading matrix teams.
2. Five (5) years of project management experience, including capital contracts in excess of 10M per contract.
3. Working knowledge of Oracle, Oracle Business Intelligence tools, including Discoverer Admin, and CRM.
