Bethanie provides therapy services to our customers inresidential homes and in the community. Our residential therapyteam consists of Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists whowork collaboratively with skilled Therapy Assistants to improve thequality of life of Bethanie’s customers. The residentialtherapy team is supported by a full time Allied Health Manager.
We currently have a great opportunity for a qualifiedPhysiotherapist to work in partnership withresidents at our aged care home in Como. If you share our passionfor person-centred therapy services and promoting a positive ageingexperience for older people, we would love to hear from you!
While working as a Physiotherapist for Bethanie, you will bewell supported by a Senior Therapy Team Lead and regularprofessional development activities. The Bethanie Therapy teamconsists of over 40 Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapistsand our focus is to improve the quality of life of Bethanie’sresidents.
This role offers:
* Working 24.5 hours per week
* Professionally supported by our Senior Therapy TeamLeaders
* Opportunity to pick up additional casual shifts at nearbysites if preferred
Key responsibilities:
* Provide evidence based and goal directed Physiotherapyservices including assessment and therapeutic interventions inthe areas of mobility, function, pain and falls prevention andmanagement
* Direct and co-ordinate therapy implementation by TherapyAssistants and support staff
* Contribute to a multidisciplinary program of continuousimprovement
* Maintain appropriate clinical documentation and informationsystems

About you:
* You have full unrestricted AHPRA registration as aPhysiotherapist
* Good computer skills, with confidence to use MicrosoftOffice packages and clinical information systems
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in bothverbal and written form
* Commitment to person centred care
* Demonstrated workload and time management skills
* Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a teamsetting
* Current National Police Clearance, or willingness to applyfor one
* Current NDIS Worker’s Screening Check, or willingnessto apply for one
* Willing to obtain required vaccinations – 3 x covidvaccinations and annual flu vaccination
