We are looking for an HR & Union Relations Manager with experience in manufacturing companies and solid expertise in union relations management.
In order to support the Italian plants' results achievement and improvement, he/she will provide leadership and support the management in developing the plant organization while guaranteeing consistency with legislation and with the company processes.
In coordination with the HR team, he/she will help to implement all the human resources processes in line with Comer Industries policies and programs.
He/she has a bold experience with key HR processes to:
1. Support and drive the management of the union relations;
2. Contribute to the effective management of Labor Relations, providing updates, facilitating the communication process through the organization on specific topics;
3. Support the Plant Management in developing the entrusted functions and people, acting as a reference point for HR processes (e.g. Performance Appraisal, Compensation, disciplinary actions, job rotation, etc.);
4. Monitor and ensure the proper implementation of labor regulations, guidelines, and company policies;
5. Collaborate with each organizational unit in the Budget analysis and cost control, ensuring respect for established guidelines;
6. Ensure the proper implementation and respect of planned activities and approved budgets.
Requirements:
1. Economics/law degree + master’s degree in Human Resources Management (preferred);
2. 5/7 years of experience in HR in an industrial environment;
3. Passion and a strong interest in working within an industrial framework together with dealing with grievances, HR issues, and Unions;
4. Experience in managing plant staff;
5. Good English knowledge;
6. Advanced use of Office suite and strong attitude for IT systems;
7. Sound knowledge of Italian labor law;
8. Good knowledge of Lean Manufacturing methodology; WCM knowledge is a plus;
9. Willingness to travel in Italy and abroad.
