Job Title: Lead Engineer
In this role, you will lead technical projects, manage remote resources, and ensure the delivery of high-quality products.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy innovative solutions related to DCS/ESD/F&G and higher-level applications.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support project managers in understanding, managing, and achieving customer expectations.
* Take ownership of engineering activities and apply methodologies, resources, and techniques to minimize execution cost while maintaining schedule and quality standards.
* Be a focal point for all technical communication with customers for assigned work.
* Fully understand the scope of work for all allocated engineering output and ensure it is delivered to the requisite quality, budget, and schedule.
* Advise managers of any customer-initiated changes in scope.
* Support management in creating an inclusive and supportive environment for all personnel within the project team.
* Actively contribute to assigned bid activities to ensure customer requirements are fully understood and innovative, efficient solutions are proposed.
Requirements:
* Engineering degree or state-certified technician with equivalent knowledge.
* 3+ years of relevant industry experience with a proven track record of managing system design, implementation, and factory/site acceptance test phases of process automation control systems (DCS preferred).
* Ability to lead a technical team with leadership experience preferred.
* Experience with direct customer contact.
* Proficient in Italian and English (verbal and written).
* Preferred qualifications include knowledge and experience in Lifesciences market and batch application, cybersecurity and networking, and DCS control systems (DeltaV preferred).
