Mission As a Global Facility Technical Advisor you will be responsible for supporting large-scale refurbishment projects within the organization. This role involves assistance to technical direction of worksites, preparing CAD layouts for new site designs, supporting the procurement department in technical tender preparations, and managing the worksite during the refurbishment process to ensure successful project delivery. Key Accountabilities Project Planning and Design: - Assist in developing and preparing detailed CAD drawings and layouts for the refurbishment of sites. - Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate them into technical specifications and design plans. Technical Direction: - Assist with technical direction and oversight for all aspects of the refurbishment project, ensuring adherence to design specifications and quality standards. - Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other technical specialists to ensure project goals are met. - Assist in reviewing and approving technical plans, drawings, and documentation. Procurement Support: - Collaborate with the procurement department to prepare technical specifications and requirements for tender documents. - Evaluate technical proposals from suppliers and contractors, providing recommendations based on technical criteria. - Assist in negotiating contracts with suppliers and contractors to ensure optimal terms and conditions. Worksite Management: - Support the day-to-day operations of the refurbishment worksite, ensuring compliance with project plans and schedules. - Collaborate with on-site teams, including contractors and subcontractors, to ensure effective coordination and execution of work. - Monitor progress, quality, and safety on the worksite, addressing any issues or delays promptly. Budget and Schedule Management: - Assist in developing project budgets, ensuring costs are controlled and aligned with financial plans. - Check and maintain detailed project schedules, ensuring milestones and deadlines are met. - Provide regular updates and reports on project status, budget, and schedule to senior management. Quality and Compliance: - Ensure all refurbishment activities comply with relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards. - Conduct regular inspections and quality control checks to ensure high standards of workmanship. - Address and resolve any compliance or quality issues that arise during the project. Stakeholder Communication: - Maintain effective communication with all stakeholders, including internal teams, contractors, suppliers, and regulatory bodies. - Facilitate regular meetings and progress updates with project teams and stakeholders. - Manage stakeholder expectations and provide clear, concise information on project developments.
