As a Cordinator – Foundational Stage, you will lead the development, revision, and enhancement of educational materials for the foundational stage, aligned with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and National Curriculum Framework for Foundational Stage (NCF-FS). This role requires expertise in early childhood education, curriculum design, and resource development, coupled with strong coordination and leadership skills to drive impactful learning experiences. Responsibilities Curriculum and Content Development: Develop engaging, age-appropriate books and materials for children in the foundational stage, adhering to NEP 2020 and NCF-FS. Revise and improve existing books and resources to align with contemporary pedagogical practices and the principles of joyful learning. Teaching-Learning Resources: Ideate and design prototypes of innovative teaching-learning resources that cater to diverse learners and promote experiential learning. Enhance the quality of existing teaching-learning materials to ensure they meet foundational learning objectives. Stakeholder Coordination: Work closely with the internal team, including subject matter experts, illustrators, and content creators, to ensure timely completion of projects. Coordinate with freelancers, such as authors, graphic designers, and content reviewers, to deliver high-quality resources. Research and Analysis: Stay updated on emerging trends and best practices in early childhood education. Document insights from educators, children, and parents to refine materials. Capacity Building: Assist in developing teacher training modules to support the effective implementation of the foundational stage curriculum. Provide guidance and mentoring to team members to foster creativity and collaboration. Quality Assurance: Ensure that all materials are culturally relevant, inclusive, and aligned with the developmental needs of children. Maintain high standards for language, design, and pedagogy in all outputs. Qualification and Skills Required Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Curriculum Development, or a related field. Additional certifications in child psychology or pedagogical approaches (e.g., Montessori, Waldorf, Reggio Emilia) are preferred. At least 3–5 years of experience in early childhood education or curriculum development, with a strong understanding of NEP 2020 and NCF-FS. Proven track record of developing or revising educational materials for young children. Freshers with a creative mindset are considered. Strong content creation skills with a focus on storytelling, activity-based learning, and visual appeal. Excellent project management skills, including the ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines. Proficiency in coordinating with diverse stakeholders, including designers, authors, and freelancers. Familiarity with digital tools and platforms for content creation and collaboration. Passionate about early childhood education and foundational literacy and numeracy. Creative thinker with strong attention to detail. Collaborative and team-oriented, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of regional languages and cultural contexts in India to create inclusive and diverse materials.
