The Global Trainee Program is an exclusive 6-month opportunity designed to offer you a comprehensive international experience aimed at specialization within our Aerospace & Aviation division.
As part of our program, you will spend the first 6 months in our newly renovated, state-of-the-art global headquarters in Cologno Monzese (MI), acquiring the essential skills for your international career.
After the initial 6-month apprenticeship, you will be ready to leave, exploring new career abroad, possibly in German-speaking Switzerland.
TXT is currently aiming to develop three different profiles: Software engineer, System/Test engineer, Flight simulation engineer.
You are the ideal candidate if you possess a good English knowledge (B2 at least), are an independent, curious and eager to learn person, with interest in the aerospace sector, open to new challenges and with a strong interest in international professional growth.
Flight simulation engineer
Main Responsibilities:
Design, implementation, integration and validation of a customer simulator flight model.
Design, implementation, integration and validation of flight model’s surrounding tools and applications.
Requirements design and implementation based on stakeholder needs, market demands, and product lifecycle strategy.
Generation and management of software technical documentation.
Required Skills:
Master’s degree in aerospace engineering or aeronautical engineering.
Basic knowledge of Matlab and Simulink.
Strong interest in flight dynamics.
Availability for short international working trips.
Optional Skills:
Strong background in flight dynamics and flight simulation.
Team player with the capability to work independently.
Basic knowledge of C++.
Experience with Agile working methods.
Software engineer
Main Responsibilities:
Design, implementation, integration and validation of software components.
Develop software model of aeronautical systems.
Generation and management of software technical documentation.
Participate in all software lifecycle process and activities (Testing, bug fixing etc.)
Required Skills:
Bachelor or master’s degree in STEM disciplines (aerospace engineering, aeronautical engineering, mathematics, physics, computer science).
Object oriented development experience, also non-professional related.
Optional Skills:
Experience in personal development projects.
C++ and/or QT Knowledge and development.
Proficiency in versioning tools (e.g., GIT).
System/Test engineer
Main Responsibilities:
Technical support to Project Manager, Customer Support Manager, End user.
Scheduling and planning of implementation activities to ensure project’s success.
Cooperation with internal and external stakeholders to ensure requirement creation, management, traceability, testability and delivery.
Design, manage and implement the V model.
Coordination with Software and Hardware specialists to ensure correct system implementation.
Coordination and management of all product lifecycle documentation.
Required Skills:
Bachelor or master’s degree in aerospace engineering, aeronautical engineering or equivalent.
Interest in Project Management.
Basic knowledge of the Verification & Validation process.
Communication and complex situations handling abilities.
Optional Skills:
Experience in personal project leading and management.
Knowledge of system engineering and MBSE
Knowledge of main aviation systems
