For our office in Italy, we are looking for a Construction Project Manager.
What will you do day-to-day?
* Management of the PV projects from RTB to COD.
* Manage all resources assigned to the projects (engineering, procurement, construction, finance control, legal, etc.), internal and external, to control and report its status and to ensure that the project meets the requirements and standards planned (technical, quality, HSE, risks, cost, and timeline).
* Manage and supervise the grid connection process and related interaction with the TSO and DNO.
* Manage the EPC Contracts, including the EPC Contractors and external providers.
* Manage the relationships with the stakeholders of the projects (Authorities, Townhalls, landowners, REE, etc.) to obtain all the necessary permits to connect the plant.
* Provide support to the technical department to optimize the layout and specifications of the plants, and to ensure that the progress of the work complies with these requirements and standards.
* Provide support to the Procurement department to define the procurement strategy of the project, and to select the providers (EPC/BOS Contractor, equipment suppliers, HV suppliers, Owner’s engineering, Construction supervision, Health, and Safety coordinator, etc.).
* Identify, implement, and monitor improvement and/or corrective actions throughout project management (risks, schedule, scope, cost, quality and safety).
* Coordinate and perform activities such as developing project reporting, project budgets, track site activities, project schedules, documentation requirements etc.
* Lead and report weekly & monthly on-site meetings with the stakeholders of the project (EPC Contractor, Engineering, etc.) with particular focus on tasks progress, milestones, risks, action plans and contractual issues.
* Know and apply industrial best practices of QA/QC and HSE.
What are we looking for?
* University Degree in Civil / Mechanical / Electrical / Industrial / Energy Engineering or similar.
* At least 8-15 years of experience, with a track record as Project Manager in Energy projects (ideally in PV Plants and Interconnection Facilities).
* Familiarity with PVSyst, CAD or equivalent yield assessment tools.
* Knowledge of Italian PV and Agri PV projects permitting processes and familiarity with AU decrees.
* Have a detailed understanding on current Italian construction regulations.
* Knowledge of the Italian grid connection code both MV and HV and related procedure (Connection Request, STMG, STMD, Grid Connection Contract).
* Local knowledge combined with the experience of an international work environment.
* Attention to detail with the ability to efficiently manage complex technical projects and equally complex commercial negotiation.
* Travel availability within Italy.
* Italian native, high level of English are necessary (other languages are valuable).
