JOB DESCRIPTION AND Scope of role
Regal Rexnord Aerospace Solutions is seeking a Key Account Manager to join our Sales Team. This is a remote position with a requirement for the successful candidate to be located in Central / South Europe to facilitate ease of travel to our European based customers.
The Key Account Manager covers a pivotal role within the Aerospace Solutions team balancing the synergies between customer priorities and operational performance. This is a demanding position operating in a dynamic supply chain. This is a challenging role that will provide opportunities for the successful candidate to compete for business. We are looking for the person who has the determination, perseverance, and passion to win. Reporting to EMEA & APAC Sales Manager, the Key Account Manager will drive the activity associated with the assigned aerospace customers as well as participate in a variety of business critical activities that insure that financial and other stated goals are met. In addition, this position is responsible for maintaining high customer satisfaction by addressing and resolving customer inquiries and problems, generating orders and driving new product development to increase market share. Even if based in EMEA Region the Key Account Manager will daily cooperate with overall Aerospace Solutions team, as of today mainly based in USA.
Key Responsibilities
* Management of assigned key aerospace accounts in regards to: sales, orders, quotations, business development, conflict resolution, VOC, contract administration
* Drive new application development activities to gain market-share, bringing in new opportunities aligned with Rexnord Aerospace value proposition and 80/20 principles
* Understand key aerospace market and competitive trends to best implement our value proposition as well as product offerings to enhance our value proposition
* Partner with cross-functional groups, such as Customer Care, Product Managers, Program Managers, Engineering and Operations, in order to deliver a world-class customer experience.
* Contribute to Strategic Account Planning and Annual Improvement initiatives
* Proactive communications - internally and externally - supporting Cross Selling initiatives, aimed to open new doors for overall Regal Rexnord growth
* Routinely secure and share across organization accurate Voice of the Customer (VOC) information, providing regular reports on activities and opportunities in assigned area through Company CRM
* Monitor Sales, Order, Margin Trends and Opportunity Funnel reporting them monthly during Regional Business Review to Management, being proactive on solutions to meet planned budget and continue to drive the growth of the business
* Assist mitigating business risk associated with key customer inventory, forecasting, and open orders
* Maintain a high knowledge base on the business’ products and applications.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS and success factors
* Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Business, or related field
* Proven experience (at least 7 years) in Sales and/or Account Management and/or Program Management in companies selling mechanical products.
* Previous experience in Aerospace market
* Fluency in English
* Previous experience using Salesforce and PowerBI preferred
* Strong verbal and written communication skills supported by an analytical mindset with a bias towards being fact based.
* Technical aptitude. Ability to understand technical drawings and communications.
* Experience of working at a leadership level in a matrixed global organization.

* Availability / willingness to travel up to 50% of the time
* Ability to work remotely and flexibility to interact with US based manufacturing sites.
