Job Description
The Business Analyst for Marketing is a pivotal role at the heart of the company’s transformation for sales and marketing areas. This position requires a proactive individual who will work closely with the CMO, Sales Excellence, and ICT teams to drive sales process improvements, optimize CRM utilization, and develop advanced reporting tools. The role is not operational but focuses on strategic support, continuous improvement, and enabling data-driven decision-making across the sales organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business analysis, CRM management, and data visualization tools like Power BI. He/she will act as a bridge between marketing, sales, and IT, ensuring that datasets, pipelines, and dashboards are aligned with business KPIs and executive needs.
Main responsibilities:
* Understanding Sales and Marketing Organizational Needs:
* Analyze the company’s Sales and marketing global organization, structure, workflows, and KPIs.
* Identify gaps and opportunities for new processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of Datalogic sales organization.
* CRM Management and Optimization:
* Collaborate with the CRM Specialist to evolve the CRM system, ensuring it meets business needs.
* This role is covered by IT reporting team in collaboration with CRM and SAP IT team. Ensure CRM data governance, including data creation, certification, and cleaning.
* Reporting and Data Visualization:
* Develop and revamp Power BI reports to make them user-friendly and actionable for the Executive Team.
* Create tailored reports to support decision-making and monitor the impact of new processes.
* Continuous Improvement:
* Proactively identify opportunities for CRM, reporting and sales process enhancements.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement improvements and ensure alignment with business goals.
* Strategic Collaboration:
* Work closely with the CMO and Sales Excellence to support the evolution of the sales network and boost business results.
* Partner with ICT for the development of CRM platform and executive sales and marketing dashboards (30% of the role).
Requirements:
* Education: Bachelor’s degree or Master degree in Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
* Language: English (as primary language), Italian
* Years of experience: Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in Sales & Marketing.
Technical Skills:
* Strong understanding of company’s global organization, structure, processes, and KPIs
* Advanced knowledge of Power BI for creating and optimizing dashboards.
* Strong understanding of CRM systems (e.g., MS Dynamics) and data governance.
* Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
* Experience in dataset structuring, pipeline management, and aligning data with business KPIs.
