Stellantis is seeking technology game changers to lead a fundamental transformation within the automotive industry. The company's Software Organization (SWX) was created to build captivating experiences in the latest frontier of Automotive Technology.
As a Diagnostic Expert Engineer, you will define the in-vehicle diagnostics protocol infrastructure for a new Centralized and Service Oriented End-to-End EE Architecture. This role will provide in-vehicle diagnostics requirements for the development of a new platform covering almost 80% of Stellantis' 14 Brands portfolio. You will work with a team to drive key decisions on Ethernet and CAN based network diagnostics protocols.
The goal is to launch a world-leading hardware platform product exceeding current and future technology challenges, achieving a truly software-defined Vehicle.
Key Responsibilities:
* Define and own in-vehicle diagnostics requirements and standards for implementation in electrical and electronics units on the new Stellantis vehicle platform.
* Design new solutions and produce technical specifications related to in-vehicle diagnostics features.
* Execute workshops with SW teams and Tier1/2 to define robust and cost-effective technical solutions.
* Contribute to problem analysis and solution execution.
* Drive early life cycle delivery through an agile approach.

Minimum Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering.
* 4+ years of experience in the automotive industry with a Tier1, Tier2, or OEM in technical roles (System engineering, Software Architectures, Software Development).
* Solid experience with UDS protocol, diagnostic protocols, DoIP, OTA, and firmware reprogramming technologies.
* Knowledge of AutoSAR Classic and Adaptive.
* Demonstrated experience with automotive network communication technologies: Ethernet, CAN, CAN-FD, LVDS, and LIN in-vehicle protocols.
* Knowledge of Vector tools, especially CANdela Studio, Prevision, and DaVinci tools.
* Experience with requirement management tools (e.g., DOORS).
* Ability to work in a complex international environment, cooperating with autonomy with functional departments and 3rd parties.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills on complex topics.
* Fluency in English required; any other European language is an advantage.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Knowledge of vehicle E/E architectures and the related development cycle.
* Experience with automotive ECU embedded systems troubleshooting.
* Knowledge of Linux embedded systems.
* Experience with SW development processes (A-Spice oriented).
* Experience working with SAFe/Agile teams and methodologies.
