The selected candidate will be responsible for managing the following activities within their area of competence: Support to Export Manager Team Tracking and Reporting: Regularly track and report on the progress of new business opportunities, from initial inquiry to final sale, ensuring clear communication of success metrics to senior management. Reporting and Communication: Ensure that sales agents provide accurate and timely reports on their activities, sales, and customer feedback. Consolidate and analyze the data to ensure alignment with company goals and strategies. Export Procedures & Compliance Analysis and application of export procedures in accordance with international trade regulations and legal requirements (including export documentation, tariffs, customs clearance). Ensuring compliance with local and international trade laws, including customs, taxes, and import/export regulations. Oversee shipment logistics in line with export schedules and procedures, ensuring smooth customs clearance and timely delivery, also within the EU borders (set of documents needed) from the Italian perspective. Customer Management Regularly analyze customer feedback and business performance to improve services and address any potential issues. Monitor and ensure prompt payment from customers, taking action where necessary to address payment issues. Customer Database Management Develop and maintain a comprehensive database of customers, including contact details, order history, preferences, and payment records. Ensure all customer data is accurately recorded and up to date in the company’s CRM system. Performance & Result Analysis Prepare reports on key export activities for management, including customer performance, sales forecasts, and market trends. Collaboration and Key Interfaces Act as the key liaison between various departments (Commercial, Logistics, Supply Chain, Finance) to ensure smooth operations. Work closely with suppliers, internal teams, and customers to resolve any issues, streamline operations, and optimize supply chain performance. Ensure effective communication and coordination between all parties involved in the export process to meet customer demands and deadlines. Control & Shipment Management Oversee the entire shipment process, ensuring that goods are shipped in accordance with agreements, timelines, and regulatory requirements. Manage logistics and inventory tracking, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of products. Reporting & Analytics Provide regular reports on export activities, including sales, shipment status, payment status, and customer feedback to senior management. Analyze customer results and market conditions to adjust strategies and improve the export performance. Qualifications & Experience Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, International Trade, or a related field. Experience: 3-5 years of experience in international sales, export management, or a related field. Language Requirements: Fluent in English (B2 level). Proficiency in other languages (German, French, Spanish) is a plus.
