EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:Essential Qualifications/Experience:5+ years’ experience in various areas of:Latest Cisco Routing Switching TechnologiesDesign, implementation and troubleshooting of routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, ISIS, MPLS, EIGRP)Implementation and troubleshooting of switching protocols (STP, MSTP, RapidPVST, EtherChannel, LACP, Virtual Stack, StackWise, Cisco Nexus NX-OS)Advanced routing technologies (Policy Based Routing, VRF, redistribution, GRE, BGP/MPLS traffic engineering, BGP Confederations, BGP Route Reflectors, L2TP, IP SLA, DMVPN)IPv6 implementation and troubleshooting (OSPFv3, MP-BGP)Design, implementation, troubleshooting of the network security technologies (IPSec, AAA, Role Based Access Control, Public Key Infrastructure, security hardening concepts)Knowledge of network monitoring conceptsKnowledge and understanding of the latest software defined networking technologiesKnowledge and understanding of the virtual network infrastructure conceptsActive Cisco CCNP certification (CCNP Enterprise or CCNP Service Provider)Configuration management practices and toolsKnowledge of ITIL IT service management modelExperience and applied knowledge of Service TransitionDUTIES/ROLE:Complete the activities/tasks agreed in each spring meeting as per sections 2 and 3 aboveProduce sprint completion reports (format: e-mail update), which include details of activities performed. Specifically, the resolved number of tickets will be broken down into number of Incidents, Service Requests (work orders), Change Requests, Tasks, and Requests for Information or Internal Activities, traceable through ITSMParticipate in the daily reporting and planning activities (daily stand-ups) as well as the required participation in workshops, events and conferences related to the supported services, as requested by the Service Delivery Manager or deputy
