Job Description:
Datalogic is looking for a System Engineer role, reporting to the System Manager; he/she will collaborate with the R&D area.
The candidate will follow engineering design and technical management of assigned new product(s) development projects.
Main responsibilities:
1. Analyze Stakeholders (Product Manager, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Service and Support, etc.) needs and develop clearly-stated functional and performance requirements.
2. Develop innovative approaches for system design and integration, proactively working and interacting with Product Manager and R&D Manager.
3. Apply systems thinking to optimize product design and development, from concept to production and service.
4. Secure adequate Verification and Validation programs coverage of single elements, sub-system up to complete system aimed to warrant proper compliance with functional, performance and quality requirement.
5. Supervise Verification and Validation programs execution and results and directly execute, verify and validate key product functional, performance and quality requirements compliance during New Product Development phases.
6. Secure proper analysis, requirement definition, planning and implementation of design changes within Product Development phases (requested by Stakeholders and/or, from Verification and Validation programs, or Customer Site Tests, etc.).
7. Effectively manage cost, schedules and risk in engineering tasks according to project commitments.
8. Coordinate engineering activities, with multidisciplinary teams, at multiple locations.
9. Collaborate with multiple stakeholders within Product Development Process, namely Product Manager, Program Manager, Product Development Committee, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Service and Support, etc.

Requirements:
1. Education: Master's degree in Engineering.
2. Experience: 4-6 years of experience in systems engineering position.
