Job Title: GL Accountant
The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the financial function within Imerys, a leading supplier of mineral-based specialty solutions for industry with 14,000 employees and operations in over 40 countries.
Main Responsibilities:
* Daily coordination of the Financial Service Center in Greece and supervision of general accounting and related reconciliations/balances;
* Supervision of intercompany transactions;
* Support to all Italian Imerys entities in archiving and administrative activities;
* Supervision of the completeness and correct sending of electronic invoices;
* VAT, Conai, and Intrastat submission;
* Participation in IT projects for the implementation and customization of SAP 4Hana.
Requirements:
* Accounting diploma or degree in economics;
* Experience in the role of at least 2/3 years gained in modernly structured companies;
* Fluent in Italian and English, written and spoken; French might be a plus;
* Good knowledge of Microsoft Office packages;
* Knowledge of SAP is mandatory; JDE is a plus.
