Job Summary
The Global Head of Sales will be responsible for developing and executing the company's global sales strategy to achieve aggressive growth targets.
This individual will lead a high-performing sales team, build scalable sales processes, and cultivate a customer-centric sales culture.
You will be a critical part of the company's leadership team and play a key role in shaping the company's go-to-market approach, ensuring alignment with the overall business strategy, and driving long-term success.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute a comprehensive global sales strategy aligned with the company's business objectives.
* Identify new market opportunities, define target industries, and establish strategies for market penetration and revenue growth.
* Collaborate with the leadership team to align sales efforts with marketing, product, and customer success initiatives.
* Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing global sales team, including regional sales leaders and account executives.
* Foster a results-driven culture by setting clear performance metrics and accountability standards.
* Invest in training and professional development to ensure continuous improvement in skills and effectiveness.
* Own global revenue targets and ensure consistent achievement of sales goals.
* Develop accurate sales forecasts and provide actionable insights to guide strategic decisions.
* Optimize the sales funnel, from lead generation to closing, ensuring scalability and efficiency.
* Establish and maintain relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders.
* Act as a key representative of the company at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings.
* Stay informed about market trends, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities.
* Design and implement scalable sales processes, tools, and technologies to support growth.
* Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and ethical standards across all sales activities.
* Monitor, analyze, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate team performance and drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
* Experience: 10+ years of proven success in sales leadership roles, with at least 5 years managing global teams in the software industry.
* Track Record: Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed revenue targets, expand into new markets, and scale sales organizations.
* Strategic Vision: Strong understanding of go-to-market strategies, including channel sales, direct sales, and partnerships.
* Leadership: Exceptional team-building and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and manage geographically dispersed teams.
* Analytical Skills: Data-driven decision-making capability with expertise in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and sales analytics tools.
* Tools: Familiarity with sales tools a major plus; Salesforce, GONG, Apollo
* Communication: Fluent proficiency in English with advanced skills in communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, tailored to effectively interact with diverse international stakeholders.
* Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred but not required.

Must be able to travel up to 50% of the time both domestically and internationally
