What you’ll be handling
Manage material handling projects in the sales phase Understanding the request of our customers and cooperate with Solution Design Team in defining an efficient system design and solution Establish binding and trustworth relationships with consultants and customer decision makers on all levels Create and implement a project sales strategy Carry out customer and competitor analyses at regular intervalsLead the project team for the different sales opportunities until project handover to the Realization departmentWork closely with other in-house expert departments (Business Development, Solution Design, Realiuzation, Lifetime Services)Manage the bid process and the correct internal sales gates (Bid / No Bid, Concept Review, Design Review, Offer Review, Handover)Keep CRM up to date for assigned sales opportunities In collaboration with the Head of Sales and Head of Solution Design be part of the team that leads the contractual negotiation process with customers in compliance with internal rules and guidelines Support Business Development Manager with marketing events and initiatives
What you’ll need
Technical High School degree (example Mechanical, Mechatronical), preferably Technical University degree (example Engineer)At least 5 years of technical sales experience in industrial automation, preferably in intralogistics and material handling industry Technical understanding of material handling operations and processesKnowledge of strategic and structured sales of integrated systemsExcellent social and communication skills in Italian and English Distinct success and result orientation and high analytical competencyStrong teamwork skill. Ability to work with all levels of the company. Proactive, independent and flexible person, able to work under stress conditionsExcellent presentation skills with ability to communicate and interact effectively with different customer level, including executive, in formal and informal meeting Strong leadership and ability to influence senior management within customerAbility to travel frequently in Italy
